For testing purposes it can be useful to setup a call on a specific trunk. Use the originate command from the asterisk command line interface. For example, to call an external number (555-1234) from an extension (123) using ZAP/7, enter: originate Zap/7/5551234 extension 123 (posted here because I can never remember) Notes on configuring and running and Endian Firewall.
